Pretium attends Engineering Idol!

On March 8th, Pretium Engineering was proud to support PEO Etobicoke Chapter’s 13th Annual Engineering Idol Competition held at the University of Toronto. The theme this year was “The Resilient Home”. High School Teams researched and prepared prototypes related to new concepts for adaptations that could be made to residential buildings in response to the Global Climate Crisis.

Our own Jennifer Hogan was one of three judges for the event, Joel Venne was on the event's organizing committee, and Suzanne Santyr is Vice Chair for the PEO Etobicoke Chapter. With March 9th being International Women’s Day, it is noteworthy that the First and Second place awards went to all-female teams from Loretto Abbey CSS!
