Parking Garage Restoration
Large Residential Apartment Complex
- Large site with two single-level underground parking structures
- Garage condition assessment, design of remedial repairs, specifications, tendering, contract administration and construction review
- Removal and replacement of deteriorated ramp topping and non-functioning heating cables, partial slab-on-grade and subgrade replacement (including associated subgrade drainage repairs), concrete repairs at columns, re-painting of columns and installation of sealant cant at column bases.
- The column repairs were completed in five phases to minimize the burden to find overflow parking during the project; each phase has been completed ahead of schedule and on budget
- The client has retained PA for future restoration phases at the garages, including replacement of the roof deck waterproofing
